Lately our daughter has become very domestic and has found her place in the kitchen. I no longer can do the dishes or cook a meal without little martha pulling up a chair to the sink or countertop and trying to cook or clean like mommy does. I hope this same desire to help me stays around until she turns 18. Allyson helps rinse off the dishes and will put all of the silverware in the dishwasher. When I am cooking she always gets to help me mix the ingredients and then clean up the mess she usually makes. Thanks to some friends of ours, Ally now has a kitchen of her own that she can do whatever she wants with. The other night she made Brian and I dinner. Brian got pizza and an orange slice on a plate and she made me eggs and peas.....just what I wanted....haha. While we were pretending to eat our delicious meals, Allyson came back with a third meal and she said it was for baby. Brian and I just looked at each other and laughed as Ally lifted up my shirt and started feeding carrots and toast to my bellybutton. She knows mommy has a baby in her belly, but I think she thinks my bellybutton is the baby. She always says HI to her baby brother or sister while patting on my belly button.
